English Department of UNN Hosts her Graduates

By Ugwu, Chinagorom Joseph Enugu- The Department of English & Literary Studies of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, led by the Head of the Department, Prof. Ikenna Dieke, will play host to her graduates during her ceremony of the “Homecoming of  graduates” scheduled for Thursday, June, 8 and Friday, June 9, this week.         Information on the University Website indicates that the event will take place at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium and Unity Hall, both of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.         Dignitaries expected in the occasion include His Excellency the executive Governor of Imo State and the Occasion’s special Guest of Honour, Owelle Rochas   Okorocha, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, the Chairman of the Occasion, Chief Nduka Eya. Fed. College of Education Eha-Amufu To Affiliate With University of Nigeria

By Ugwu, Chinagorom Joseph Enugu- Plans are underway by the authorities of Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State to affiliate with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) for its degree programmes.          The hint was, on Thursday, June 1, 2017, dropped by the Provost of the College, Rev. Prof. B. N. Mbah during an Affiliation Resource Verification Visit by the UNN Team led by the Dean, Faculty of Education UNN, Prof. (Mrs) Stella Nwizu.          The Management of Federal College of Education,Eha-Amufu, on Friday, took to her Official Facebook Page to announce her imminent affiliation with the Nigeria’s first indigenous University, University of Nigeria.          However, The Management of University of Nigeria was yet to react or confirm the affiliation as the press time.
