UNN introduces Ratings For Lecturers

By Ugwu, Chinagorom Joseph Enugu- The University of Nigeria, Nsukka has introduced students’ course Evaluation platform as the basis for lecturers’ Promotions.          Students’ Course Evaluation is a platform to measure the teaching effectiveness of lecturers to effect quality teaching and learning in higher institutions.        Nagorom@info gathered that University Students are required to rate lecturers of different courses offered in the previous semester to be able to view their results online. Students, it was gathered, are required to rate each lecturer by either clicking Poor, Below Average, Average, Very Good or Excellent to twenty questions. Some of the questions are Lecturer’s punctuality to class, regularity to class, relationship with the class, delivery of lectures. UNN Denies Sale of Sandwich, Diploma Programmes' forms

Top of Form Bottom of Form  By Ugwu, Chinagorom Joseph Enugu- The University of Nigeria Management has, on Friday, denied announcing the sale of forms of sandwich and Evening Degree and Diploma Programmes            The institution was reacting to alleged advertorial calling for the purchase of admission forms for a “Proposed Take-off” of Sandwich and Evening Degree and Diploma Programmes of the University of Nigeria.             In an announcement, signed by the institution’s Acting Public Relations Officer, Chief (Dr.) Okwun Omeaku and sent to institution’s managed e-mail accounts of staff and students of the institution and also published on the University website, the institution advised the general public to discountenance the fake advertorials   adding that “the unsuspecting members of the public have been advised to purchase admission forms f...
