UNN to give best blogger awards

Enugu- The University of Nigeria, Nsukka Management has said it would give best blogger awards to her deserving members of staff and students who excel in blogging.

           According to a statement on the institution's official website (www.unn.edu.ng), signed by the officer-in-charge of the Awards, Rev. Dr. Ezichi A. Ituma, the awards will also be given to students with 500 blogs, most informative blogs, most updated blog,most innovation-driven blog with cash prizes. Others who will also share in the awards are most vibrant female blogger, most motivational class among others.

           It will be recalled that the institution, since the inception of the current administration led by the current University Vice-chancellor, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, had maintained lead among the team of Nigerian Universities and in Africa, by extension especially in ICT-driven teaching,learning and research. In January, 2016, the institution was graded the best in the country among the best 2000 Universities in the world in the webometrics ranking released

          The University has, in the last two years, introduced Computer Based Examinations in all General Studies Programmes to facilitate teaching and achieve problem-free examination processes.
